Petite skull reopens human ancestry debate
Notice the following paragraphs...
"Spoor
notes that the paucity of the fossil record means that many conjectures about
Homo erectus remain unproven. "
So what they find is a very small skull (likely chimpanzee) and some stone
tools. Since they cannot except the idea that Homo Sapiens (us) were around,
they then have to posit the idea that chimpanzees are really, really strong
and smart and can make stone tools. Or they will come up with some creative
missing link imagination saying - well these must not be chimps because there
are stone tools - it must be Homo erectus - but since only a few skull peices
were found, how do they know it is "erectus" ? As you can see, hypothesizing
anything as long as it supports evolution can get you published. And
publishing keeps the money rolling in... :)
